The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow

This week was full of play practice, play performances, and singing Annie songs at home. We stayed up late to put her hair in curlers and woke up early to fix her hair before school. Grace got really good and putting on her own makeup and changing it from the street apple seller to the fancy mansion staff.

Grace had a dress rehearsal on Monday and Tuesday. I was lucky enough to be able to go help behind stage and get some sneak peeks into this darling play!! Such a fun group of students and I loved watching Grace with her cast. 

Wednesday they had pictures and ran through a few songs. She has worked so hard!! Then she had performances on Thursday, Friday, and two on Saturday. She did such a great job!! She was so happy and loved being a part of it. 

Her first scene was just her and Annie on the stage and she did awesome!! She was the apple seller in New York. Then she was in the mansion staff as Annette the maid. And she was a cute girl in the New York scene. 

She had so much support with friends and family that came to watch her perform. She has multiple people each night. I was able to watch ipening night and help backstage the next three performances. The kids were so kind and it was fun to help them out.
