Luck of the Irish

 Ben has enjoyed his first few weeks in the Grand Valley Ward. His companion is part of the missionary traveling performers, so he is still going to weekly practices. But he has enjoyed the ward and Elder Boe.

Spencer participated in a track camp at Wahlquist. They had 4 days of practice and then on Friday, they held a small meet at the school. He ran in the 400 M, 800 M, and 1600 M. He did great for practicing for a week. Today he spoke in church and did amazing! He spoke on the Book of Mormon. 

Then last weekend Jake invited Bryce and Spencer to go skiing at Snow Basin. They had the best day. Spencer, Kara, and Abby went off on their own at the end of the day, Spencer is getting to be a good little skier. 

Grace has been working hard in her play. I started going when I could to help backstage. The play is so cute and they have all worked so hard!! I can't wait to see it all together. She has made some cute friends and is enjoying having something that fills her time. She has been so busy and when this is over she isn't sure what she will do with her afternoons. 

She went to the orthodontist this week and she is ready to get her braces off!! She is excited for this week. She was lucky enough to have Shannon there to help at quite a few appointments, which she loved!

Abby finished up her ACT prep classes and took the ACT last week. She worked hard and was used her spare time to take practice tests and study. She is a great student and a hard worker. 

Great Grandpa turned 89 this week!! We went to visit him and it was fun to hear him and Grandma tell stories. He took the kids inside his woodworking room. He has loved sharing some of that with the grandkids.
