Bryce's friends had their camping trip planned this year, but I was nervous about taking Spencer so we had a trial run. We took our family camping in the Mantua campground and had so much fun. Their was a little river just next to our campground and the kids thought it was so fun to play in. We helped them make boats and then we sent each boat down the river. The kids loved it.
Of course we stayed very clean while we were up there.
Spencer and I spent a majority of the time in the trailer, but he did so good and we were ready for our next camping trip.
Bryce's friends planned a trip to Jackson and we had a blast. The weather didn't turn out great the whole time, but we still did everything we wanted to. The kids of course loved walking through Jackson and seeing the elk antler arches, but the highlight was the floating the river. Ben and Abby each went down the milder, but fairly long kids raft. Bryce takes them up to a rapid free zone and all the kids board the boat and get to float down like the adults. It has become the most important part of the trip. All the kids were begging Bryce to take them, even when the weather was bad. But like always they had a blast going down. Even Abby loved the big kid raft this year.
