Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving we went with the Moyes side and stayed at Bear Lake. After some car trouble we finally made it up and we were all so excited to be there. The kids always love being at the cabin with their cousins (almost as much as the adults) and when they all can be there its so fun. Kay goes to so much work to prepare for Thanksgiving and getting all the food up to the cabin. We really appreciate all her hard work because it is the best dinner. She even takes request for pies and makes everyone's favorite pies . . . yum yum!!
A tradition at the cabin is to make gingerbread houses. This year the kids made their own foam gingerbread houses and then each family made a real gingerbread house with the frosting and candy.
To keep the younger girls out of trouble and making a big mess, they got to play with playdough instead of helping with the houses.

All the kids
The day after Thanksgiving we usually cut down our Christmas tree, but this year it was so snowing you couldn't get up the road unless you had snowmobiles. So we took the kids back to the cabin and played in the snow. It was freezing, but the kids thought it was great. The girls didn't last quite as long as Ben, well Grace would have, but I don't think she cared that she was frozen.
We had a great time and love spending time together, especially at the cabin with nothing else to do, but play!!
