Halloween
Then I was also asked to be the head room mom for the 1st grade so the next day I helped the 1st grade and we made bats made with their hand prints. It was so fun to see all the kids and I love being able to help. (although this week was an overload, moved on Monday and Tuesday; Preschool party on Wednesday; 1st grade party on Thursday; then more Halloween fun that weekend)
Ben was a pirate, it took a lot of convincing, but he finally agreed that he didn't need to be Puff the Magic Dragon for three years running. He never would wear the scarf under the hat, but it was great. Abby was a cute witch she was so excited, she even found a red dirt devil broom to carry around. Grace found the Pumpkin fairy costume and wanted to be it. She wanted to wear it everywhere.
On Saturday we celebrated Halloween. We started with the Moyes Halloween Party. It's always fun and the kids had a great time. Kay makes it so much fun. The kids love the games and the food is always so fun and creative.
Then that night my kids went trick or treating and finally got the hang of it. Usually they get tired, but they made it a little longer and we're very happy with the amount of candy they received. In fact we still have a little bit left. They are actually really good to not eat very much, they usually only eat one or two pieces a day. I love it!!
