All Abby

Unless you have the opportunity to know Abby you just can't fully understand what a funny girl she is. I love her with all my heart, but she pushes my buttons more than anyone I have met. She has her own agenda and is not persuaded away from her ideas. She is very determined and knows what she wants. But what makes her Abby is the funny crazy things she does. She is always saying made up words, or posing in funny ways to take her picture, who knows what she will do next. The other day she put on a bike helmet, shin guards, and safety goggles just to run around in the back yard.
She is so full of love, feeling, emotion, drama, and excitement. She does everything with a full fury, she puts her heart and soul into whatever she does. You never have to wonder what she is feeling, because she will let you know. She is her own little person and beats to her own drum. But it only makes her more Abby.
Sometimes I worry about the decisions she might make as she gets older, because she likes every bad guy in the movies. At grandma's camp they put on fake dinosaur tatoos and she was the only one who wanted to put one on her belly and she thought it was so cool.
We are so lucky to have Abby in our family. She is such a great big sister, she is always wanting to hold Gracie's hand and help Gracie. She was so excited to have Grace come to nursery and has been telling her leaders for weeks that she was coming in. She loves her brother and wants to do things just like Ben. The other day I asked Ben to help me with something because he was my best helper and she felt bad because she wanted to be my best helper, and since then she has. If I give her something to do she is a good little worker.
She loves numbers. She wants to know how big everything is, which only means she will put her fingers on it and count how many fingers or hands it is. Sometimes I am 9 and sometimes she will throw out a number and I will be one twenty two. The other day Ben even commented that Abby loves numbers and she has a number for everything. When she ask for something like a drink she will ask for eleven drink. Then when you give her her drink she will start at the bottom and count up to the top and count to eleven. But the next time with the same drink it might be three. But she is very smart. The other day I asked Ben a math question like what is two plus three and Abby answered before him. She is starting to add, but we aren't sure where she even learned this. She is so smart and is so excited for preschool.
She is definitely a daddy's girl. She loves her dad more than anything in the world. She always wants to be right by Bryce. She is so sweet (when she so chooses that certain emotion). She gives the best hugs and kisses. At night she will give us such big hugs she tries to knock us over on the ground. Then she tells us not to kiss her, while she gives us kisses. She always has her own ideas, but she sure makes things exciting.
