July Adventures
It seems July is always such a busy month for us. We pack as much in as possible. It always starts off with the 4th of July which is such a fun holiday that our family loves. Then shortly after is Ben's birthday. This year we also had swimming lessons, which was such a hit. Then we finish the month off with the 24th. Then in between we like to fill it up with lots of fun things.
We went swimming a few times and my kids love to swim in Lynn and Kay's pool or just run through the sprinklers. So we spent most of our days playing in the water.
We also like to have a camp out in the back yard. I usually volunteer to sleep indoors with Grace and Bryce sleeps outside with Ben and Abby. They love it and have so much fun.
One of the many great things about living next to Lynn and Kay is they have the best garden and fruit trees, you name it. My kids loved the fresh strawberries and raspberries this year. We couldn't keep Grace away. Anytime she was outside she would be digging through the strawberry patch eating anything that resembled a strawberry. I think it made her a little sick a few times eating who knows what.
My kids also had a blast going fishing with Bryce. They loved to go to Mantua and fish off the bank. They usually each are able to catch at least one. One time they went with Grandpa Moyes and he caught a really big one, which was way exciting for them.
For the 24th we of course went swimming. My family came over and we went swimming in the Moyes' pool. Everyone had such a great time.

Congrats on your 5k!! I love the feeling of finishing a race.
5k that is awesome! I just read your post about Abby and the struggles you've been having w/her lately. Just wanted to let you know you are so not alone. I'm dealing with those same type of issues with Gunnar. Every time he gets put in time out he yells: "you don't care about me!" Oh, the drama! Hopefully it's just a phase they're both going through. I'm worried that Gunnar has some sort of middle child complex or something.
The 5K was fun and you did so good! We will have to make a habit of it. Thanks partner.
