Little Slugger

Abby will probably always keep me on my toes. She is a little girl with her own mind and her own agenda. She beats to her own drum and doesn't want anyone to tell her to change her ways. While challenging at times, she will not be pushed around and she speaks her mind. Yet she is also a very loving little girl. She loves life and puts her heart and sole into everything she does. She is such a fun girl. I'm so happy to have her to always remind me how fun life really is.

While most girls her age are playing princess and dress up Abby is playing "player and coach".

This is a game that Abby has made up, or at least I never played it growing up. She likes to play as a soccer player or a t-ball player, while someone else is the coach . The player, Abby, runs around and plays a certain sport while the coach, usually Bryce or I, stands and blows the whistle. And if you are the coach you can't sit, you have to follow the player around to clap, cheer, encourage, and blow the whistle if the time is over.

So Bryce has given her a new name - Slugger. She loves it. She is such a daddy's girl and to have a special nickname and is so exciting for her. She loves her dad very much and loves to play outside with him.

The other day I was outside playing with Abby when she introduced me to her imaginary friends. We were jumping on the tramp and she told me that next to her was Pina, then Hina, and Tota, and Huta, and so on. She had about 10 friends that were jumping with us and playing. She was so funny. They never have the same names, but they are all about the same there is usually two and they are crazy made up names that sound alike. Some are longer names like Hupa Kika Lila Moma or something like that. She is very creative with her names. For Easter she got a Barbie and when we asked its name she said Bertha. It was so funny.

She loves one on one time and loves to play games. On Mothers Day we had my parents over for dinner and had such a fun time. Then after we played games. Abby loves her bowling game, she was so excited to play. We had a blast. Abby always is up for something and makes everything fun.
