My baby is ONE!!

I can't believe how fast the time goes by. My little baby turned one yesterday. She is such a happy baby we are so lucky that she came to bless our family. She is walking all over and is trying to get into everything, but is so happy doing it. She loves to take care of Abby's baby dolls, more than Abby. I think she has a mothering instinct. She tries to imitate everything her brother and sister do. Her favorite toys are our remote control and the phone. She loves to carry them around and push buttons. Of course we give her the pretend ones and they just aren't quite as good. She is so good to go along with whatever we have planned. We love her so much.

Grace was born on Feb 1, 2009. She was a little early, but we were so ready to have her here. She was taken away for some test for a couple of hours and I was so happy to have her and hold her when they brought her back. She was such a beautiful baby with a ton of dark hair.

She is very loved. The kids loved her almost from the moment we came home. (It took a little longer for Abby) But they love to hold their little sister. They are so excited Grace is moving so they can play with her now.

There is nothing like the first smile. It is the sweetest thing. Grace has the cutest smile and is so happy.

She loves to do things early. She rolled on for the first time in March and has been mobile ever since. In July she got on her hands and knees and was crawling two weeks later. She loves to be on the move wherever it may lead her.

She loves to make her Daddy happy - Go Broncos.

She loves playing with Ben and Abby whatever they are doing.

She really is up for whatever we want to do. When we dragged her in the snow storm to cut our Christmas tree she thought it was so funny. She will go anywhere with very little whining.

She sticks out her tongue all the time. I wonder where she gets that from - ha ha.

We had a great year and to top it off we had a fun party. She is lucky to be surrounded by family who came to help her celebrate her birthday.

Her cake was heart shaped, you just can't tell it just looks like a blob on the picture, but it was tasty.

Grace is my sweet tooth baby. She has had more sweets than Ben and Abby combined before age two. (ok maybe a little exaggerated) She loves sweets and chocolate. YUMMY!! She was so happy eating her cake.
